market day!

The first day of farm staying in Frysdal village! Luckily there’s a festival and market in a park. Because it’s a Frysdal’s day! I helped to sell productions, goat cheeses and handmade soaps.

My work started from 7:30.

(I woke up at 7:23 though... I woke up at 7:00 and slept again. I knew that I must wake up so I had a nightmare for 30 mins. Then woke up and prepared within 10mins!)

Packed cheeses! They made goat cheese with some seasonings. A guy is from France so he makes French style cheese! My favorite is cheese with basil and white onion. It’s very tasty!

It’s creamy so good with everything! I really like his cheese!

Opened a small shop!

Everything is handmade and ecological :)

I met many people! I wish I could speak more Norwegian... but I could understand a little. My ears get used to Norwegian. Sometimes I feel strange because it’s not mother language but I could understand unconsciously.

I also met French family! I can speak French a little before. But I can’t speak it at all since I came to Norway! Every time norwegian words came up :P

But I really think it’s nice to be able to speak many languages. Not need to be fluently! I wanna understand what they say and think. I’m sorry but French is too hard for me. So I start Norwegian then Spanish!

The best way to learn language is to have a native friend!

Anyways, every people were so kind! I feel very comfortable here...

I also feel this place is like my grand parents hometown. It’s in north japan. So the atmosphere is same. I smell the same and it makes me so relaxing.

I love my grand parents hometown... I think that’s because of my good childhood. They produced rice and I often went to the rice field with them! So that I love a smell of grass, soil and water mixed.

Let’s get back to talk about a festival!

I had baktpotet for lunch! I don’t know the meaning of this name but I guess it’s like ‘bomb potato’! Taste was like Mexican. So tasty!!

It’s more like a flea market. Everyone sold many kinds of things like furnitures, dishes and clothes.

There were also arbeidsparty! This is very interesting for me. A festival is for having fun so no economical things in my opinion. But it’s nice way to get a interest when many people are gathered!

They didn’t push people to be in. They looked like just having a fun together. It’s very different to Japanese politics. They respect each other so they had good conversation even though they are not same party.

In japan, you know, they always have arguments... like a kid. “don’t listen because I don’t like you!” Politicians also explain in difficult way. I must learn more of course, but they also need efforts to make it more simple...

I think this place is not only park but also museum. There’re many old fashioned houses.

We couldn’t go inside. But holding a market surrounded by old houses made me exctied!

Interesting. There were more shops around this park!

Amanda, a host of wwoorfer, and I were talking about products.

To be honest, I wasn’t so interested in soaps. I thought it’s not highly necessary to use. I was totally wrong! It’s one of item I use most in a day.

So using a ecological soaps is good for environment. Why didn’t I realize!? I was very influenced by convenience city life...

There are many natural flavors! My favorite is with lavenders :) I hate a smell of lavenders when I was child... but now it’s my fav. Camomile and geranium also.

I studied about aromas a little. But I want to study it again when I go back to japan. And make soaps and some items what I need by myself with my fav smells!

She also said that I can bring soaps as detergent. It’s eco friendly so I can do laundry even in the river! Cool!

It’s related to eco-tourism! Use soaps instead of detergent! Smell is good! Feel good! You’re happy, nature is happy :)

But There are many people who made organic soaps in japan. It’s a little like a competition... I wonder if we can sell those together...? Someone make it means that I don’t need to make...?  Probably.

Then I buy from them! I pay, they got money to continue good work :) to buy their products is to be a fan of producers!

Let’s be a fan and support them! I really like this weoof host! I’m a fan so I want to help them. To help them, I buy soaps!

Sometimes knowing producers help to make a decision of buying. Ya, this is what I want to do. Make fans of producers!

Knowing their efforts also nice. People know why it’s expensive. Know that it’s worth to pay. They don’t ask you to pay too much. Because they don’t work not only for making money.

This is good start! I am sure I can learn a lot with them in this small village.

There are more farmers who moved in this village. They are young, I think 30th. Nowadays, more people are interested in eco life :) good!

今日はマーケットの日〜。日本語と英語で書くのって2倍時間かかるね。しかも一回書いてるから、また同じこと書くのって難しいんだよね。

ただ先に日本語で書いちゃうと、英語書く気力がフライアウェーするから、英語を日本語に訳すスタイルでいくね。

(それにしても、ほんと、英語のボキャブラリー少なすぎて恥ずかしい。でも勉強しないけどw)

まず朝の7時起きが無理だった。7:30から仕事だったのに…。7時に目覚めて、二度寝して、7:23に起きた。もうほんとに。早起きがなぜ出来ない？昨日23時に寝たのに！低血圧だからってことにしておこう。

話は逸れるけど、低血圧って結構あぶなくない？高血圧ばっかり気にしてるけど、低血圧って血液を循環させる力が弱いってことじゃないの？血液の流れ悪すぎてガンになったらどうしよう。

(その他にも便秘症だから、大腸ガンになったらどうしようってずっと思ってる)

そう、まあ、寝坊した。悪夢見た。友達に責められる夢な。あとテニス下手だって言ってるのに、ほかに上手な人いるのに、何故か私が試合に出されるという。本当に夢の中で不安だった。絶対負けるのになんで私！？ほんとに無理！ってすごくストレス感じた。夢の中で。疲れたわ。

10分で支度して、チーズのパッキング。手作りの山羊チーズだよ！フランス人が作る、美味しいチーズだよ！ほんとに美味しい。

ナチュラルチーズと、ナチュラルチーズに色んな調味料をまぶしたお惣菜チーズ。私のお気に入りはバジルと玉ねぎチーズ。あとシャーロットチーズ。このアイデアいただきましたー！笑 将来山羊飼ったらつくりたい。

でも山羊のミルクを手に入れる=山羊が子供を産む=子供の世話が増える。そしてミルクは毎朝絞らなければいけない。朝の5:30に。

…むり！起きれない。むしろ寝ないで朝5:30を迎える方が、できる気がするー

チーズのパッキングが済んだら、リトアニアで買った民族スタイルワンピースを着て出動！

今日は、フリスダール村の日ってことで、一年で一番盛り上がる日なんだって！フリマみたいな感じで、家具とか服とかみんな色んなものを売ってたよ。

私たちは手作りハンドソープ、クリームと自家製チーズ！これがまたよく売れたのよ。ほんとに。

たぶん小さな村で、ほかに買う場所がないからだと思われる。特に自家製チーズはなかなかないよね！しかも本場フランスの味だよ。

私も売り子頑張りました。拙いノルウェー語だけど。一応伝わったし、たまーに理解もできたからオッケー。

お昼ご飯に、爆弾ポテトを食べた。ポテトにマヨネーズ、コーン、ハムがのってて、サルサっぽい味付け。うまかったー。でもホストファミリーの子供に、めっちゃ手掴みでハム食べられたw 1歳半。私も子供苦手だったけど、ここ数年でだいぶ相手が出来るようになったよ。なにせ子持ちの友達が増えたからね…

この公園は博物館要素もあるようで、昔ながらの建物があったよ。

あ、だめだ。日記書く元気が残り少ない！

手作り石鹸いいよね。昔はまっっったく興味なくて、別に石鹸必要ないしと思ってたの。ばかじゃない？って思うよね。いや、手はちゃんとハンドソープで洗ってたよ。それが石鹸でなくてもいいじゃんて思ってたの。ハンドソープの方が便利じゃんて。エコロジカルハンドソープもあるし。

でも…ハンドソープはゴミ出るじゃん。プラスチックゴミ。石鹸はそのままじゃん！何より旅に持ち歩けるじゃん！(じゃんじゃん、うるさくてすみません)

小分けにすれば、いろんなにおいの石鹸も持ち運べるよ！

さらに洗濯にだって使えちゃうんだから！洗濯機には無理だけど(すりおろしたら、いけるかな？)、川で洗濯しても川汚れないよって言われて、衝撃を受けたよね。その通りだってね！(川で洗濯なんて、なかなかないだろうけど)

ちょうど洗剤買わなきゃかなーって思ってたんだけど、石鹸があれば身体も洗えるし、選択もできる！

…いやでも待って。洗濯機で使えないんだったら、洗剤もいるわな。少なくともヨーロッパでは洗濯機ありそうだし…。手洗いするにしても、バケツないし。

おおっと、書いてて自分で矛盾してしまった！いやでもとにかく石鹸は毎日たくさん使うものだから、エコロジカル石鹸を使うにこしたことはない！

ハンドソープより、もっと身体にいいよ！だってハンドソープがどうしてあんなにドロドロしてるか分からないでしょ？でも石鹸はどうやって作るか、なんとなく…あれ？なんとなく、わかるようでわからなーい。どうやって固めてるの？

だめだ矛盾に次ぐ矛盾。エコロジーを推したいのに、肝心のところが何も分かっちゃいねえ！そう、私、エコロジー初心者！だから今、いちから現場に突撃して学んでるの。

今まで地球に優しくって思っていたけど、実行出来なかった口だけやろうだったの。でも今頑張ってるからさ！

エコロジーを学んでいく過程で、知り得た情報や考えを共有していくのがこのブログだから。

すみませんね、でも、リアルでしょ！笑 石鹸の作り方知らないのはやばい？世間知らずなもんでね！でも紙の作り方なら分かるよ。雑誌で紙をつくるオモチャ持ってたからね。
