Telemark life!
Now I am in Telemark where I wanted to come! Because I saw many beautiful photos of Telemark area on instagram.
I took a bus to go to Oslo busterminal. It's been for long time since I took a bus last time. It reminded me many memories of my life in Oslo. I often used buses.
I took a long-distance bus to get to Telemark area. It took about 4 hours from Oslo. I must change a bus once. I was worried if I could get off the bus at right bus stop because the driver passed through most of small bus stops. I told him to tell me when we arrived at the stop I must got off though.
Actually, it was a terminal so I could easily know to get off. Some people also got off it then took another bus.
I changed to local bus of Telemark. The logo of reindeer is so cute! The interior is beautiful and kind of old fashioned.
I asked the driver again if he can tell me when we arrived a bus stop. Then he said "about 3 o'clock!" I should have asked him if he can let me know when we arrived! haha But I don't know how I can say "let me know" in Norwegian. So I checked my location and destination on Google map.
Land scape is very similar to Japan. Mountains with tall trees. Norwegian mountains are well maintained more than Japanese mountain though. It is more bright and grasses hold soil very well.
Did you see photos of my cabin above? It's very cozy!! like a house of Hobbit. Super happy! There are no one else here so all this is for me! How lucky I am!
There's a french family who travel in EU by a camping car. What a nice! They sold their house and started traveling from March. They are planning to continue traveling til December.
They have 2 children who is about 4 years old and 10 years old. They don't go to the school but have been learning a lot in the nature. They worked at a field and played in the forest with bare feet.
I walked with bare feet with them! Felt so good. (I don't want to do this in the city though.)
They have a blog so you can check their travel here!
This is a cabin. So I need to get a water from outside. Toilet is compost toilet so I use sawdust instead of water. But it doesn't smell somehow and no flies. Wonder. It is not convenience as city life but this is real hytta life. This is a way to spent a time in Norwegian summer! I am so excited.
This farm was full when I found but I just texted them if there's an opportunity to stay. After a while, somebody canceled so they sent me a massage if I can come! Lucky! It's always better to send a message even though it is full.
I will do my best for 3 weeks!
This is a last farm stay in Norway!
